OPHB/Triple Crown Futurities  

News Release             November 19, 2006  

OPHB/TCF held their annual meeting November 11, 2006 at Spirit Mt in Grande Rhonde , OR.  

OPHB/TCF awarded more than $98,000 cash to eligible horses and stallion owners in 2006.  

Linda Wise was elected President of OPHB/TCF for 2007, Vice President is Ed Clark and Edie Hill will continue as Secretary/Treasurer.  

OPHB/TCF will be starting a FOR SALE portion of our web site, watch for the first horses to be posted.   Only eligible horses or nominated mares in foal or nominated stallions will be able to advertise on our web site.  The cost is $10 for 90 days.  No photos, script only, listings will begin at the first of each month and cannot be changed for the 90 day duration.   Linda Wise will be the contact to start.

This should be great to advertise your eligible horse, we get many requests from people looking for eligible horses but there was nowhere to look until now.  

Stallion nominations are due by November 30 to avoid late fees.  

Also passed was a new rule:  Mare owners have until January 1 to nominate a stallion at the regular price after that the stallion nomination fee will be as currently listed.

This gives mare owners a chance to nominate the stallion they bred to, at the regular fee in case the stallion owner does not nominate.
